Government of Canada

The Access to Travel Web site, spearheaded by Transport Canada, is an initiative that seeks to contribute to a stronger and more inclusive society for all Canadians. Reflecting this spirit of inclusiveness, the site was created with the help of the federal and provincial partners listed below. The federal partners provided both the management and resources to develop the Web site, and the provincial partners contributed data for the database and actively promote the site in their respective provinces. The goal of this collaboration is to reduce the frustration often encountered by persons with special needs when planning and taking a trip by providing easy access to information on accessible transportation services across the country.
